I noticed my bill had gone up from £48 a month to £84 , I rang them and asked why, they said my 50% discount that I've had for my 18 month contract had run out, I said can you offer me another deal. He said I can reduce it to £72 a month I said I can't afford that cancel it please. He put me through to cancellation where I told her that I have been a customer for 8 years, she managed to get it down to £61 a month and a further £12 as I cancelled my multi room subscription. Just shows if you tell them you want to cancel they can bring the cost down if they want to. There should be discounts for loyal, long standing customers, new customers get the best deals.
We came back to sky after years with virgin and I’m impressed with Sky Q. It’s really easy and practical to use, menus easy to read and use and having the cinema pack is a life saver.
The product is good but unfortunately their customer service is very poor. You should expect to be on the phone for hours if you have a problem, which undoubtedly will happen as their billing department makes basic mistakes.
The best for watching sky movies!!!! Addicted.
Had sky since I can remember even living back home, will never leave them! Couldn’t live without the variety and recordings on 6 programmes on our new sky Q box!
You have to pay for every single little add on with sky and the programs aren't even that good. The only but that's vaguely worth it is the sports, but it's so expensive for just TV channels. I would not recommend.
A few months ago someone from Sky called me with special offers I could add to my package, I was told I could remove them any time I wanted. So I got box sets and cinema to see through the winter months. So January comes and I call up to take these back off of my plan only to be told that box sets is contracted and I have to keep it for another six months! Obviously I was outraged because the person that called me with the offers said these can be removed any time etc, and these were now costing me £30 extra a month that I can no longer afford. Explained this to the person I called and he was shocked that someone had called and done this so he took off the cinema as I asked and gave me box sets for the price of my previous package before some twerp put a load of extras onto my account that I didn’t want. He was very good and I am very happy!
Rang up about a dodgy broadband connection and to see if they can't arrange an engineer until the phone line line has been tested with a landline telephone!!! i haven't seen a landline telephone since David seaman had a ponytail, I tell the girl I haven't got one. she asks can I borrow one from a neighbour???
yeah no bother chicken il pop into my time machine and after purchasing my tickets for the titanic maiden voyage il ask my neighbour can I borrow his phone and maybe his penny farthing as well.
she then asks can I buy one from Argos???? im paying for a service and you want me to buy test equipment for you????
im losing my rag at this stage so I ask to cancel, he puts me through to some guy who miraculously all of a sudden is offering to pay for the phone by crediting my account FFS!!!
Why do I have to nearly cancel the service to get anywhere????? stop taking the piss out of people and deal with issue first time around.
I pay a lot of money for the service and this is the first time I've ever had an issue and I hope it's isolated. wasting my time and there own when a resolution was there all along.
I recently decided to leave virgin media and go to sky I was talking to a nice guy on the phone he found me the best deal I now have full sky tv over 100 amazing channels I have super fast unlimited broadband and a phone line including sky movies I have saved £120 per year by switching I highly recommend Sky my kids love it every show they like at a touch of a button.
Sky will always give you a good deal and we've never had any problems with them. Even when they try and put the price of your package up you can negotiate with them and they will tend to do you a deal.
