Went to Lego Land Sunday the 7th of April and upon entry realised that the price per head was £60 per person and children under 3 are free. This is an absolute disgrace when you think of it a normal family of 4 costing £240 quid and then you have to pay £7 to park your car. I was not at all impressed but obviously paid and entered the park, very soon upon entry i could see that most of the food vendors or restaurants were closed which limited us to getting over priced boring sandwiches and over priced average waffles for lunch and on top of that a few of the big main attraction rides were not open with no fore warning of any of this when we were paying at the entrance. Overall i think its very unfair and it actually annoys me they have the front to charge families this, it is ultra expensive and just not on. The reason we went there for the day was for a close friends young sons birthday day out and we also had others friends travel down from up north to spend the day with us, their child is only two so they had to pay £120 for themselves to enter and watch her play in the park for a few hours. Complete madness, they should be offering deals for families as i certainly will not be returning as i feel like i have had my pants pulled down completely!
We recently went to legoland with kids we all had good time there are lots of activities for everyone, we love legoland and it is a great family day out.
As we have to visit in School holidays or weekends like everyone else, this makes Legoland very expensive in relation to the experience you receive. Silly queues and just too many people. The first couple of hours is ok while people are still making their way there but after that we just go in the play areas and look at the models, it's just not worth doing anything else! The kids love it though so it's still worth making the effort I guess!!
We have stayed at the Legoland Windsor Resort twice and absolutely loved it. The hotel was clean and the pool great fun. The park was great with a good variety of rides and plenty of great places to eat. I couldn't recommend this highly enough.
Never been that bothered about Lego unfortunately, but however my son absolutely loved his day out! Think the hubby enjoyed himself too!
Legoland is so overrated, I would prefer to take the children out to chessington for the day.
not a fan off LEGOLAND.
it's a long drive to get there and totally overpriced.
I've been twice and both times didn't think it was that good. i had vouchers both times luckily otherwise i would have been even more disappointed with the day if I had paid full price.
After a lot of excitement we were quite disapointed with LEGOLAND as i paid for priority parking but on arrival they made us wait 30mins in a hot car so they could verify my booking as there website had an error bearing in mind i booked 10days before going. Also ride times were an hour plus.Glad we had a discount voucher as i definitely wouldn't pay full ticket price of £60 each. Also a Magnum icecream was £3.00.
