John Lewis cannot be faulted for their customer service. They are always looking to keep the customer happy and their staff are so helpful.
I am so happy that John Lewis now offer next day delivery to Booths supermarkets as an option for free click and collect spending over £30. This is so much more convenient/ environmentally friendly for where I live rather than a long drive to store or Waitrose. I ordered some Christmas presents and sale items, all were delivered the following day. This now makes shopping all too easy!
I popped into John Lewis recently as I wanted a particular item of make-up. I have never before been to a make-up counter in a department store as I have always felt too intimidated by the glamorous (and heavily made up) assistants behind the counters. Anyway, when I got to the counter, the assistant was busy talking to another two assistants, but reluctantly came over. I asked about the product and I felt that she was judging me and couldn't wait to get rid of me to get back to chatting. Also, they were out of stock of the particular product I wanted. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. I had hoped John Lewis would have done better.
Ordering online with John Lewis was fine. Collected the order from my local branch was fine. Got home one of the items was broken. Called them up and they arranged for a replacement to be sent to my local branch - all fine as these things happen. Went to collect the item. After waiting about 25 minutes to be served at the customer service desk, they couldn't find the order, they kept switching to other customers as well. It took about 3 members of staff in the end to find that the item had not been ordered properly and they did not have it in this took nearly an hour and a half. So I had to go back in a couple of days to collect again which they did have in this time but that still took 45 minutes to wait around to be served and for them to find it. Very disappointed in their customer service it really is a shambles, especially for a high end retailer.
We like to buy our electrical products from John Lewis, they will price match and they offer really good extended warranties too.
I like to buy children's clothes too - suitable styles for the ages of my children, at good prices and actually sized perfectly for them. Absolute top quality too.
I received fantastic customer service and help. I will return to buy more in future.
We recently purchased a 4k television from John Lewis the delivery was quick and they kept us informed of a time slot the night before so we weren't waiting all day.
No problems whatsoever.
John Lewis always have good prices, but even when the price is not the best, the customer service pays.
Easy to exchange, return, whatever, they will make your live easy.
Bought sleepyhead deluxe, really happy with it and the staff in store were brill.
After seeing Vitamix blenders at the Ideal Home Exhibition I was overjoyed to see that John Lewis sell reconditioned ones £200 cheaper than new but still with a 5 year warranty. I ordered one at 11:15 on a Saturday for click and collect at my nearest Waitrose and was amazed to get an email at 9:45 the next morning to say it was ready for collection!
