Use them for this and they have been 1st class. Good to know you have people who want to help if ever needed.
Just got back from a family holiday to Mexico with my wife and two young children, we have held axa family yearly cover for a few years and i am so glad we did as we needed it this time. On the second night of the trip we were leaving the hotel room and my son who is only 3.5 years old put his finger in the door hinge and it started to close and i just managed to stop it from fully closing. It very nearly chopped his fingers off entirely but it still really badly damaged his fingers and the nail was completely severed and his finger was badly damaged. He was hysterical and we had to call the hotel doctor immediately who arrived to the room to tell me clearly my son needs to go to hospital for emergency x-ray and operation. The service was excellent we received a private ambulance and were taken to a private hospital called Victoria Medical hospital. My son was assessed and sedated very quickly and operated on to re stitch his nail matrix back along with the severed skin, i was very anxious but the staff were excellent. I was also very worried about the costs of all of this, i called through to axa who were a class act from start to finish, listened to me and then took over and made sure all was paid along with antibiotics and painkillers for my son. When he came out of theatre he was assessed for a period and then released and we departed safely. Axa were complete stars and i am so happy i had them in my corner in such a worrying time.
I used Axa for a year or so but phoned up to add an item to my insurance and they we extremely rude in the way they told me it could not be added.
Total waste of time being insured by them and certainly will never use them again.
Then I got an email telling em the service WILL be automatically renewed - they are a con and take money even after agreeing that a service was cancelled
