Disneyland Paris

Nothing can beat the excitement of going on a family holiday – and when you’re jetting off to Disneyland Paris, it becomes the best holiday EVER!

There are so many fun things to do at Disneyland. With amazing rides, the Disney Illuminations show, the chance to meet the Disney characters and great places to eat, you are sure to have a holiday you’ll never forget.

A holiday in Disneyland Paris will be particularly memorable this year, since the theme park is celebrating its 25th anniversary. New for the anniversary year are the Festival of Pirates and Princesses and the Marvel Summer of Super Heroes.

Visitors to the attraction are invited to throw on their cape ready for some superhero fun during an action-packed summer. Keep your eyes open for caped crusaders, such as Spider-Man, Star-Lord, Iron Man and many more, who will be meeting visitors from 10th June to 30th September.

In addition, kids can play at being a pirate or a princess – if you want to be a pirate, you can begin a swashbuckling adventure with some famous Disney characters, such as Captain Hook and Peter Pan.

Meanwhile, princesses can be swept off their feet as part of a royal fairy tale, with Disney princesses including Cinderella and Belle. The Festival of Pirates and Princesses is running until 31st May.

The 25th-anniversary celebration is taking place all summer until 9th September and offers plenty of sparkly fun, such as the awesome Disney Illuminations Show in Fantasyland. This is a night-time spectacular that you will never forget. Sleeping Beauty Castle’s turrets and parapets appear to move, as if by magic, thanks to some stunning special effects!

Try out the thrilling rides such as the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, where you can speed along to the pulsating music of Aerosmith, reaching speeds of up to 100 km per hour in less than three seconds.

Ride the Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril roller coaster, where guests are taken on a thrilling adventure in a mining train through the lost temple, or brave the Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain, which is a steel roller coaster in Discoveryland that takes you both indoors and outdoors.

There’s also the ever-popular It’s a Small World, which is a gentle boat ride through breath-taking water caves, featuring realistic animated dolls depicting children of every nation in their national costume. Sing along to the national anthems and the famous Children of the World theme song.

There are some fabulous places to stay at Disneyland Paris, such as Hotel New York, where you can get a taste of the Big Apple and relax among soaring skyscrapers! The theme park’s biggest pool is located at the New York-style, four-star hotel, which has spacious family rooms.

There are dozens of places to dine at Disneyland Paris, with something to suit all tastes. Try Billy Bob’s Country Western Saloon, the character dining experience of Café Mickey, Captain Jack’s pirate restaurant, Planet Hollywood and the Rainforest Café, to name but a few.

Meet all the Disney characters, who will be strolling around the resort in their full costumes. Mickey Mouse, Sully, Cinderella, Spiderman and many more will be meeting and greeting visitors and delighting adults and children alike.
